And it's not just about freezing.

Mushrooms such as Kingfish can improve their umami and flavor by freezing them.

This time, we will introduce a recipe using frozen king king mushrooms and a method of freezing them to enhance their flavor.

If you store eringi mushrooms in the refrigerator, the expiration date is about 5 to 7 days, but if you freeze them, you can store them for 4 to 5 times longer.

If there are two bottles in one pack, it may be difficult to use them all at once. If you know freezing techniques, you can save wisely even in times like these.

Increases taste and flavor

As with all mushrooms, freezing the cells destroys the cells inside the mushroom, allowing the umami and flavor to come out.

In other words, once you freeze the mushrooms, you can bring out their flavor even more and enjoy the deep flavor.

How to freeze eringi mushrooms

When freezing raw food

1. Remove any stones and cut into bite-sized pieces.

2. Put it in a freezer bag, remove the air well, and then put it in the freezer (in the photo, it is wrapped in plastic wrap, but you can also put it directly in the freezer bag).

Also, when storing together with other cuts, it is convenient to wrap each cut in plastic wrap, as shown in the photo.

How to fry and then freeze

5 easy recipes using frozen Kingfish

Stir-fried mushrooms and ham with grain mustard

・オリーブオイル 60ml

<How to make>
1) Heat olive oil and garlic in a pot.

2) Add milk and white sauce and mix well.
3) Once it's warmed up, season with salt and pepper and it's done.

In addition to mushrooms, this is an easy dish that uses frozen nameko mushrooms, clams, onions, and white sauce.

Sauteed white fish with mild mushroom sauce

・エリンギ&マッシュルーム 150g
・白身魚 2切れ
・塩こしょう 適量
・小麦粉 適量
・オリーブオイル 適量
・バター 適量
・白ワイン 大さじ2~3
・生クリーム 1カップ
・パセリ 少々

<How to make>
1) Sprinkle salt on the white fish in advance and let it stand at room temperature (remove excess water).

6) Spread the sauce on a plate, top with the fish, sprinkle with parsley, and it's done.

You can shorten the cooking time by using fried king king mushrooms and mushrooms that have been frozen.

After adding the soy sauce, just stir-fry it lightly so that it is evenly distributed.
